About Mr Ahmed

Mr Ahmed qualified in medicine and surgery from Imperial College London, with distinctions in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, having previously taken an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Management from Imperial College Business School. Following postgraduate medical training, he embarked on Obstetrics & Gynaecology residency on the prestigious North West London programme.

After completing higher training, he undertook advanced fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at King’s College Hospital before being appointed Consultant at Chelsea & Westminster hospital, where his NHS practice is based. He was appointed Lead Clinician for Gynaecological Cancer in 2020 and Service Director in 2022.

He has presented and lectured widely in the field of minimally invasive surgery and endometriosis, winning multiple prizes including the prestigious national Gold Laparoscope award in 2019. He is a Proctor in robotic surgery, training consultants across Europe in this field of surgery, and an active researcher in endometriosis and minimally invasive gynaecology. He is a member of the RCOG, BSGE AND BAIRGS, and an Examiner for Imperial College School of Medicine.
